Overview
CoinWorldStory ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").
If you believe that content published on coinworldstory.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice using the process described below. We will review valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
Filing a DMCA Notice
To file a notice of alleged copyright infringement, send a written communication to our designated agent (see Section 6) that includes all of the information listed in Section 3. Incomplete notices may delay or prevent processing.
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. Do not make false claims, as you may be subject to civil penalties.
Required Information
A valid DMCA notice must include the following elements:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., title, URL).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its exact location on coinworldstory.com.
- Your contact information — full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent. The counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the material in question within 10 to 14 business days, unless our designated agent first receives notice from the original complainant that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringer.
Repeat Infringers
It is our strict policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyrighted material. We reserve the right to permanently ban accounts that repeatedly violate intellectual property laws.
