In a striking move, the Royal Government of Bhutan moved a total of 633 BTC on 17th January as per Arkham Intelligence. The first transaction comprised 255.26 BTC worth around $26 million Bitcoin transferred to a crypto wallet address 38mbNK7j7 which is said to belong to Binance according to Onchain Lens on X.
The Bhutanese government went ahead and sent 377.78 BTC which is worth around $38.57 million to another wallet bc1qavh2 which is again an unknown wallet, and this transaction facilitated in catching attention of many people. Such tremendous transfers of the BTC balance out with recovery being witnessed in the crypto market.
Records from Arkham paint a rather different picture of the government as they still appear to hold a whopping 11.055K BTC amounting to roughly $1.3 billion.
