According to media ZDNet Korea on Yue reported that Japan, Korea Science sub-organization of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology – Korea Internet & Security Agency ( KISA ), has announced plans to expand public blockchain pilot projects to revitalize the domestic market chain block.

The Korean government plans to spend about million to promote blockchain projects in the public and private sectors. This year, the government spent about 3.8 million on blockchain projects. The goal is to find effective cases in the public sector and make the best choices.

This year, the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technology received 72 project applications from 41 institutions and finally selected six projects for the development of the public sector. In 2019, the number of selected projects in the department will double to 12, and there will be three to four “ private-led ” blockchain projects.

The local news media “ Digital Daily ” quoted Min Kyung-Sik, head of the KISA blockchain team, who revealed that the agency plans to develop the project next year and disclose the current results in the blockchain event in November. He added: ” The purpose of the public sector is to play an active role in revitalizing the industry by ignoring the jade.
