Sanju Samson was born on November 11, 1994, in Pulluvila, a coastal village near Vizhinjam in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. He comes from a Malayali Christian family. Samson’s father, who now works as a teacher, was a Delhi Police Constable and retired as a football player who played for Delhi in the Santosh Trophy. His mother, Ligy Viswanath is a homemaker. Sanju’s older brother, Saly Samson, played under 19 cricket for Kerala, and now works as a secretary in the Accountant General’s office.
