What is Crowdfunding Trade

Trading vaults are created and managed by a single trader who is implementing the idea they proposed. Each trading vault only executes 1 trade. The execution of transactions will be done on the biggest CEX through the exchange’s API at this moment. After that, trading vaults will be executed instantly and directly on the VAULTEUM’s internal decentralized exchange.

Publishers, when creating their trading ideas, will have to fill in basic information such as: asset type, trend, leverage, entry price, target price. The Trading Vault Manager’s planned entry is simply the price at which they are considering executing their deal. It is not a limit order and is not enforceable. After the vault has raised funds, the Trading Vault Manager will manually decide when and at what price to deploy their trade.

Protocol Revenue

Vaulteum platform charges commission fees on profitable vaults. Publishers will receive 20% of the profits earned by their vaults. The protocol will receive 5% of the profits earned by the vaults, use it to buy back $VAULT tokens and burn it all. The rest will be distributed to all vault’s investors.

Protocol Rules

  • Publisher outlines trade parameters: asset, trading idea, entry price, target price, stop loss and leverage. Publisher needs to hold a certain amount of $VAULT tokens.
  • Publishers propose the vault, then the Vaulteum fundraising period commences. The fundraising will complete when one of the following ensues: the vault raise capacity is hit, or the duration limit expires.
  • Once the fundraising is over, the collected fund is automatically transferred to Binance Future by API. This fund is then used as margin collateral to execute the trade.
  • Trade is executed on Binance Future.
  • Once the position is closed (TP / SL / liquidation is triggered), the PnL is sent back to the Vaulteum protocol.
  • If a profit is generated, the publisher and platform commission fees are debited, and investors can then claim their original principal + accrued profits.

Why Crowdfunding Trade?

Decentralized asset management has been a goal of construction since 2014. It comes years before DeFi. In spite of all the tries, it never truly caught on.

Vaulteum Coin believe this for the following reasons:

  • Participants who are crypto native don’t care about TradFi vehicles onchain.
  • Natives of the cryptocurrency industry are of lack patience and focus.
  • They don’t want to wait more than a year to determine whether their money is being managed properly.
  • Long-term portfolio management is truly demanding, stressful, high-responsibility, etc.
  • Existing solutions primarily focused on 1x indices and spot portfolios thus far it does not excite users as much as other aspects of cryptocurrency.
