What Is Wine Protocol (WINE)?
Wine Protocol is a decentralized application, regarding the wine industry, where users can exploit a “Drink to Earn” mechanism by taking a photo at a bottle of wine. The goal of the project is to create a new digital ecosystem where:
*Users can buy goods and services, offered by partners (wineries, bars, etc.) and profiled by using real data collected with the “Drink to Earn” software, using cryptocurrencies;
*Experience guided tours of wineries recreated in scale 1:1 in the Metaverse;
*Take part in digital tasting experiences in the Metaverse, where expert sommelier and oenologist will guide you in experiencing, in the best possible way, various bottles of wine;
*Share pictures and opinion with the community, like in a social media, and get feedback by expert of the wine sector. Moreover, the Protocol offers the possibility of staking the native token inside a native staking platform and the possibility of acquiring, both with on-site auction and normal drops, utility NFTs that will grant unique advantages inside the staking platform and/or inside the application

Who Are the Founders of Wine Protocol?
Wine Protocol is the brainchild of Andrea Montalbano, digital geek and cryptocurrencies expert, and Tommaso Selicorni, student of viticulture and oenology and sommelier, both born in Italy in 1999.
The two are friends from over 10 years and in January 2020 they began working on a project which focused on revolutionising the fast-growing industry of wine making it possible to create an ecosystem that develops around the usage of blockchain technologies.
This project became what is now Wine Protocol, and employs 9 people, all young and with various skills needed for the protocol, and a team of external expert developers and consultants that help the young team and the founders in developing the project and bureaucratic decision.

Initially WINE token will be like grapes during the growth process and will have a limited use, subsequently the refinement phase will arrive, thanks to the release of application, which will finally allow to earn currency through a simple action that can involve any lover of the world of wine. The token smart contract was created on Binance Smart Chain, being one of the most reliable blockchain, with the ability to customize the token in the best way.
