Binance has officially launched Verasity (VRA) on its Alpha platform, offering eligible users access to an exclusive airdrop event. The launch allows participants holding at least 200 Binance Alpha Points to claim from a limited pool of 32,238 VRA tokens on a first-come, first-served basis.
According to Binance, the planned airdrop was delayed due to a temporary hitch, with its activation time later than originally scheduled. The company confirmed that the event started at 8 AM UTC, and users are now assured that all functions are already available.
Dynamic Claim System Encourages Early Participation
The airdrop is also designed in a manner that the early birds are rewarded. To receive the reward, users have to spend 15 Alpha Points to confirm their attendance on the Alpha Events page within 24 hours. In case the tokens were not claimed, the minimum score mark will drop automatically by 15 marks per hour. Such a structure makes the event reach more users as it goes on.
Unclaimed VRA rewards lost will be given up after 24 hours. This is not only effective in promoting timely involvement but also has the advantage that high point holders are allowed in first, providing a gradual way of increased participation. Binance has a tiered system to maximize distribution efficiency.
Additionally, Binance has issued a notice about a trading race that will be held with VRA. Even though the details have not yet been fully disclosed, the total reward pool is likely to amount to 960,000,000 VRA tokens. This will likely increase the demand for user engagement inside the Verasity ecosystem.

The airdrop implementation, as unusual as it was, is another milestone in the continuation of the Binance Alpha engagement campaign, though there is a slight delay in the action.
