Founded in 2019, CrossTower is a digital assets capital markets firm founded by financial industry veterans on a mission to bring digital asset trading and investing to institutional and professional traders. The firm first launched a multi-asset trading platform last year, and has since expanded to include a capital markets desk with best-in-class services and products tailored to the needs of hedge funds, family offices and other markets participants.

Trading fees

What are taker/maker fees?
A taker fee will be charged if your order was executed immediately against existing resting orders, as your order would remove (take) liquidity.
An order will be charged a maker fee if it was not executed immediately against existing liquidity, but was instead added to the order book before being matched with a taker (making liquidity).
Please note that market orders will always be considered taker orders and thus be charged taker fees. For limit orders, if you would like to ensure that your order is a maker order, please use the “Post Only” option when placing your order.
***Note that limit buys where the limit price is above the highest bid, and limit sells where the limit price is below the lowest ask, will take liquidity.

These limits are calculated in USD equivalent and applies across both fiat (USD) and digital assets. CrossTower securely stores all digital assets in a combination of online and offline storage. As a result, and in accordance with your withdrawal instructions, it may be necessary for CrossTower to retrieve certain digital assets from offline storage in order to facilitate your digital asset withdrawal. This may delay the initiation of such digital asset withdrawal for a period of time, which may be significant.
