Momentum is building around XRP following the U.S. House’s advancement of the GENIUS Act, a bill designed to create a comprehensive framework for stablecoins. The legislation, viewed as a technical update by some, is being interpreted by market watchers as a significant development for Ripple and its growing digital asset ecosystem.

According to market analyst Pumpius, Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD is already positioned to meet the full demands of the GENIUS Act. With a bank charter already filed, BNY Mellon secured as a custody partner, and complete compliance infrastructure in place, Ripple’s early regulatory alignment is drawing attention across the crypto space.

The GENIUS Act outlines the regulatory standards for stablecoin issuance, custody, and settlement. Ripple, through RLUSD and the XRP Ledger, appears structurally prepared to adapt immediately once the bill becomes law. Analysts are now suggesting that RLUSD could be adopted as a primary settlement rail under the upcoming regulatory environment.

Pumpius noted that the XRP Ledger’s architecture is built to support fast, regulated financial activity. This includes cross-border payments, real-world asset tokenization, and digital remittances. RLUSD’s compliance readiness gives Ripple a first-mover advantage as institutions seek out stablecoin platforms that meet legal requirements.

XRP Ledger Positioned as a Regulated Utility Chain

XRP recorded a 6 percent gain following the GENIUS Act’s procedural progress, reflecting the market’s anticipation of its longer-term implications. According to Pumpius, this initial response is only a glimpse of what may follow if the bill is fully enacted. He indicated that the rise in XRP price was not the final impact but rather a preview of broader institutional adoption.

Ripple’s ecosystem is expected to benefit as BNY Mellon and Ripple Bank provide entry points for institutions looking to adopt compliant stablecoins. As RLUSD adoption accelerates, the XRP Ledger could serve as a regulated utility chain, offering both financial institutions and fintech firms a legal and scalable infrastructure.

The analyst further described the GENIUS Act as a policy-level trigger that XRP is uniquely prepared to capitalize on. Ripple’s alignment with the framework before its full implementation signals a coordinated strategy to operate within a regulated environment.

Conclusion

With the GENIUS Act moving forward in Congress, Ripple’s early positioning through RLUSD is drawing investor interest. The XRP Ledger’s structural readiness and regulatory alignment could drive institutional onboarding and support growing utility in the months ahead.
