Metabloxz enters into collaboration with one of the largest pharmacy chains in Sweden. Last week Kronans Apotek opened its first demo pharmacy in the Metaverse. The launch took place during SIME, Northern Europe’s leading strategic event on digitization.
In collaboration with the metaverse platform Metabloxz, the pharmacy chain wants to explore the possibilities for future e-commerce in the virtual world. Metaverse pharmacy is the latest innovation in Kronans Apotek’s digitalization journey and a pilot project to explore the retail of the future.

What have we built so far?
The team behind Metabloxz announced a few weeks ago that they had launched a Beta version of the app for public use. It is available on Apple and Android devices. This means they have already created a working virtual space and social communication platform with built-in marketplace features in the pipeline, they are already hosting their first events and will; launch metaverse native online stores. At present, Metabloxz can recreate virtually any existing gallery, exhibition, conference hall, retail store, or any other real estate.
