The Brokkr protocol (or Brotocol) forms the backbone of Brokkr & follows the same mission as Brokkr: to grant access to DeFi to hundreds of millions of people. The main part of Brotocol are the strategies through which users and protocols can invest. Byleveraging blockchain enthusiasts and making use of the open nature of blockchain protocols, Brotocol.
Brokkr is an investment protocol that provides sustainable and predictable returns. This is achieved through automated Portfolios, instruments that consist of several investment strategies that combine the usage of multiple dApps. It is a novel approach in DeFi but well-known in TradFi, where it works perfectly with billions invested through portfolios. Users don’t need to set up complex strategies manually, they don’t even need to know how they work. The complexity is abstracted and automated in Portfolios.

Tokenomics
Brokkr has two native tokens that are being used by Brotocol itself to manage incentives for users in a way that they are long term focused. The main token for Brokkr is BRO token but it is also supported by a non-transferable token called bBRO.
$BRO Token
Brokkr token economics is designed in a way to bring max value to users. It introduces a unique concept of Protocol Owned Liquidity and uses Floor Price for $BRO tokens.
$BRO benefits from each interaction users have with the Brokkr protocol. It has multiple revenue streams that provide greater long-term stability and more support for the token. Source of Revenue for Brokkr:
- 1.Own Investments – Brokkr invests its own Owned Capital in Strategies to create an independent stream of revenue
- 2.Fees on Strategies – Each strategy will have a small fee
- 3.LP Fees – By having its own liquidity, Brokkr will gain some fees from each trade
All that value is captured and transferred to the $BRO token via Staking rewards and a continuously increasing $BRO Floor price. 1.000.000.000 $BRO tokens will be initially minted and distributed according to the Token Emission sheet below. No more tokens will be minted.
Reduced Crypto Investment Risk
All Portfolio deposits are automatically split between all strategies inside. This portfolio approach reduces the risk of one protocol failure and dragging down the whole investment.
Reduced Market Volatility
First Brokkr Portfolios focus on stability and reducing market volatility. That’s achieved by using only Stablecoins strategies and Delta Neutral Strategies in Portfolios. These classes of strategies are very resistant to market movements. And by being diversified in Portfolios the market volatility is also reduced.
Curated Approach & Risk Factor
Each portfolio has an APY goal that can be achieved on a certain risk level. Brokkr is always looking for ways to reduce risk first and increase APY second.
Each protocol comes through a risk assessment before is added to Brokkr Strategies. These assessments form an overall Risk Factor of the Portfolio and are continuously monitored and updated. In emergencies, all funds can be immediately withdrawn from a Protocol or Strategy.
