The new partnership between the company and the credit card payment company Simplex in Israel has enabled this new feature. With Simplex, Binance users can purchase Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum, Litecoin, Stellar and NEO using Visa or Mastercard.
Zhao Changpeng (CZ), CEO of Coin’s, said:
“We want to provide fast and easy encrypted access to the currency traders in the safest way. Working with Simplex allows us to immediately close the gap between credit card payments and global trader encryption. Credit cards can now be purchased on Binance.com. Cryptocurrency, you can start trading in just a few minutes.”
At the same time, Simplex’s co-founder and CEO Nimrod Lehavi said:
“For mainstream users, simple and fast credit card payments are a key factor in the widespread adoption of encryption technology. We are excited to work with Coin to create a better and faster experience.”
Some trading platforms do not support credit card payments or charge high fees because of the risk of a charge back. In some cases, the fraudster will gain unauthorized access to the credit card and purchase the cryptocurrency, and once the owner of the credit card complains, the credit card company will issue a refund and sometimes pass the cost on to the merchant.
Simplex solves this problem by “guaranteeing fraud-free payment processing.” Unlike other credit card companies, Simplex will cover all costs associated with refunds.
