Hyperloop
Imagine a world where you can travel from Los Angeles to San Fransisco in 30 minutes, or from London to Manchester in 15 minutes. Suddenly you could live anywhere, work anywhere, and visit anywhere.
Hyperloop is a high-speed transportation system initially proposed by Elon Musk. The concept consists of pods being propelled at high speeds through a controlled environment using sustainable and cost-efficient energy. The rLoop community developed one of the most advanced Hyperloop prototypes and tested it at a SpaceX facility in Hawthorne, California.
Arrivo
Arrivo’s autonomous network is engineered to eliminate traffic by zipping vehicles at speeds up to 200 mph as a new, seamless layer of transportation that integrates with existing roadways, city metros and automobiles. The system uses only electric power to propel the vehicles and magnetic levitation to float the vehicles at high speeds. Just as all well-designed technology is invisible to its users, our Arrivo vehicles will shift transportation into a mode of “Arrival”.
rFlight
Remember when you were a kid and dreamed of flying? Sponsored by Boeing, We’re making that dream a reality. The goal is to make human flight a reality by building the world’s first personal flight device capable of being used by anyone, anywhere. rFlight has built a 1/5 scaled prototype as well as a full scale, unmanned prototype – both of which were demonstrated at NASA’s Moffett Federal Airfield.

The goal of the competition is to build the tunnel infrastructure necessary to enable fast, safe, and comfortable transportation, including Loop and Hyperloop. To feasibly build a large network of tunnels, one must first rapidly innovate to increase tunneling speed and reduce tunneling costs.
