1.Psylo

Privacy-focused Psylo, an iOS/iPadOS browser app, was launched on June 17, 2025, by security researchers Talal Haj Bakry and Tommy Mysk. Offering unique privacy features, every tab is treated as a separate “silo” with individual storage and cookies.

Psylo’s private proxy network, which has over 40 servers worldwide, provides each silo with a unique IP address and does timezone and language routing which counters fingerprinting.

The SerenityOS project’s offshoot, an independent browser called Ladybird, aims to release its first Alpha version in early 2026 for macOS and Linux.

The browser is being developed by the Ladybird Browser Initiative, a non-profit organization led by SerenityOS founder Andreas Kling and GitHub co-founder Chris Wanstrath.

The separated settings menu, more advanced multitasking capabilities with cross-window workspaces, and a redesigned Panel Sidebar with floating mode all debuted with Floorp 12’s beta launch on March 1, 2025.

Users will now also benefit from the latest Firefox features as the switch to Rapid Release Firefox Base is now fully integrated. An “Artifact Build” system enables minute-level releases, greatly enhancing precision.

8.Midori

The Astian company has made a number of improvements this spring within the Midori 11.5.x series. Headless mode was introduced in 11.5 released on Jan 2025.

Now, users can enjoy automation when testing, scraping, or taking screenshots on Linux, Windows, and macOS systems. Performance has also been improved with the addition of HTTP/3 support.

Version 11.5.1 released on March 19, added support for macOS and enhanced security, memory, and UI, as well as extension management and various other bugs.

An integrated Astian Privacy ad-blocker was added in 11.5.2 along with improved security for cookies and domains.
